WATCH: The Final Girls Trailer

In the trailer for the new horror comedy, The Final Girls, a group of modern teenagers suddenly end up in an '80s horror movie. No stranger to the horror comedy genre, Taissa Farmiga (American Horror Story) stars as Max, a young millennial who meets her late movie star mother played by Malin Akerman (The Comeback) in the alternate slasher film universe.

With a campy 80's genre at its disposal and a talented young cast like Alia Shawkat, Thomas Middleditch and Adam DeVine, The Final Girls looks like a horror movie that's finally in on the joke.
