LISTEN: Openly Gay Indiana Artist Sings Response to Controversial Law

Matt Gold

When protests and boycotts just aren’t enough.

Indiana's "Religious Freedom" law and its potential to give businesses a pass to discriminate against gay, lesbian or transgender people have made headlines across the country. Some people are protesting, while some say they are boycotting the Hoosier State. But Matt Gold, who's lived in Indiana for the last two decades, opted for a different medium for his response.

The openly gay artist wrote and sang the song "On The Way" as his way to speak out against the law. "This is my way of hopefully helping the cause with positive reinforcement, sending a message of love, not hate," said Gold.

Listen to "On The Way" below, and see more from Matt Gold here.
