We were happy (and sad) to see Matt Bomer in the last installment of theAHS anthology, mainly because the brief Freak Show stint had him hacked up. Now he's confirmed that he's back for the latest season of Ryan Murphy's grisly, gory, creepy show as the male lead. And he'll be starring opposite Lady Gaga as her love interest in Hotel.

ETOnline reports that Bomer discussed it at Sunday's PaleyFest in Los Angeles, stating: "I can't really specify too much. I can't confirm or deny that it may be a romantic relationship [with me and Lady Gaga]," adding that he "only got to dip [his] toes in the freaky-deaky nature of this show," so he's "ready to go to the deep end, baby" on Hotel.

Since Bomer has typically been described as a nice guy and played positive and upbeat roles (he'll also be starring in the Monty Clift biopic on HBO), we're sure he's going to love exploring the darker material. We just hope it's not too much Anthony Perkins/Psycho for comfort.

Cheyenne Jackson will also be joining the AHS family -- he shared as much on his Instagram -- but his role is being kept under wraps. Now is it just up to their pal Andrew Rannells to get a cameo and check into the Hotel?

It's been hinted that Jessica Lange, the show's mainstay, would be departing, and now Lange has confirmed as much, saying: "We've had a great run here. I mean, I have absolutely loved doing these four characters that I've had the opportunity to play. And in all the madness, I've loved my writers and the actors and Ryan and the whole insanity of it... but yes, I'm done."
