The Brooklyn-based indie-rock group comes in for a studio session.
Brad Oberhofer didn't realize he needed a band until after he booked his debut Brooklyn gig. "He set me up with a show at Death by Audio and I didn't have a band," he says, referring to a classmate at NYU who set him up to perform. "So I rounded up a couple of guys to play in my band."
The original arrangement, mostly friends, has change since then, and the band now finds itself--after releasing two EPs with the catchily onomatopoeic single, "o0Oo0O0o"--embarking on a U.S. tour to promote their debut album, Time Capsules II.
We recently had the band to perform a few songs from the upcoming release and talked to Brad about getting hit by a car in the 7th grade and his daily affinity for The Marshall Mathers LP.
