Terrence Meck is president and CEO of God’s Love We Deliver, a nonprofit providing medically tailored meals to individuals living with life-altering illnesses. Born out of the AIDS crisis, the organization serves 15,000 people a year with the support of 20,000 volunteers.
“I am proud to carry forward the legacy of love, resilience, and activism that began in the AIDS crisis and to shape the next chapter of an organization that continues to save lives every single day,” Meck says.
He’s also the founder and president of the Palette Fund, which has granted over $20 million to nonprofits in honor of his late husband, Rand, who Meck says still inspires his work.
“There is unmatched power in the LGBTQ+ community’s ability to turn pain into purpose and isolation into solidarity,” Meck says. “When we show up for one another with love and defiance, we do more than survive — we transform the world. Our stories, our resilience, and our pride are proof that we will never be erased.” @terrencemeck
