The Moment: September 8, 1966: Star Trek, co-starring George Takei as Sulu, premieres on NBC.
Known to many fans for his musical theater roles on Broadway (or those times he appeared on Glee as a Warbler), Telly Leung took a new direction in 2014 as the producer of his latest project, Grind: The Movie, a musical short film about what it's like dating in today's online hookup culture. Starring Anthony Rapp, Grind is a dark tale, but Leung is far from cynical about relationships -- this year, he celebrated his 10-year anniversary with his partner. "To reach double digits with someone is huge for me," Leung says. "Is it harder or easier to meet people these days? Relationships are so hard. It's the first time I can pat myself on the back." Next year, he'll be starring in Allegiance on Broadway opposite George Takei.
