The actor rose to prominence on Ugly Betty, but returned to TV this year with CBS's Partners, in which he plays a gay character who runs a business with his straight best friend. Though warned against taking another gay role, Urie recently explained, "Why would I want to play the straight guy in this? The gay guy is way better."
