In addition to healthcare, education, and Black Lives Matter, they touched on queer people and the intersectionality of the movement that Nixon is contributing to.
"There are so many people like me," Van Ness says. "There are so many LGBTQ people. There are so many people of color. There are so many women. There are so many people that want to come together and make these things that people said could never happen, they want to make them happen. Because we want to see change in this country. So, it's really a movement, and we all want to see things move forward in a progressive way."
