From Confederate statues and Hurrican Maria to attacking Meryl Streep.

Donald Trump's tiny hands love to hover over his keyboard as his beady, glazed eyes watch the news for hours and hours a day. Like a nightmare that never ends, our president has become the Tweeter in Chief--regularly sending out messages of hate, bigotry, and praise (for himself).

Somehow, despite his tweets nearly sending us into nuclear war and inducing too many anxiety attacks to count, we have (nearly) survived the year. We know the year isn't over and Trump could and probably will try to go out with a bang, we're taking som time to celebrate our resilience and looking back at some of his most obnoxious, traumatic, and talked-about tweets of the year. Grab your Life Alert and pat yourself on the back, because this is what we've endured in 2017.

1. Having the audacity to attack Meryl Streep.

2. His Mean Girls-level petty tweet about wanting to be friends with Kim Jong-un.

3. Telling UCLA basketball players who were caught shoplifting in China that he should've left them in jail because they didn't thank him for freeing them.

4. Saying that former President Obama tapped his phone, while somehow misspelling "tap."

5. Attacking the mayor of San Juan, Puerto Rico for criticizing his administration's response to helping the island recover from Hurricane Maria.

6. Trump's transphobic, factually-inaccurate military ban on transgender service members.

7. When the removal of racist, Confederate statues hurt his delicate, white supremacist feelings.

8. Suggesting he should make a fake news trophy to award to the news outlet that is the most critical of him as part of his effort to become Tyrant in Chief.

9. Suggesting that NFL players be fired for kneeling to protest racial inequality.

10. Trump defending his pro-Russia bias by literally using the line "all the haters and fools."
