Thank God.

Thank God for funny woman Samantha Bee, who has just announced she will be hosting a counter-event to take place in Washington on the same night as the Correspondents' Association dinner, aptly titled "Not the White House Correspondents' Dinner."

Though the details of how Bee's night will be broadcast are still in the air, with celebrities and journalists invited to attend, the occasion is sure to be memorable. The Correspondents' dinner and counter-event are scheduled for April 29, which is a while away, but at least we have a proper roast of Donald Trump to look forward to, as pretty much everything else right now is painfully bleak.
