Alec Baldwin as Trump Says 'We're All Going To Die' in SNL Cold Open

Alec Baldwin, Saturday Night Live, Donald Trump, SNL

"Listen, sweetheart. I’m about to be president, we’re all going to die."

As long as Donald Trump has any sort of public speaking engagement, it seems Saturday Night Live will have its cold open material.

This weekend's episode began with our favorite Trump impersonator, Alec Baldwin, reenacting the President-Elect's most recent press conference. Sadly, the sketch is really a loosely accurate recreation. We learn just as much from Baldwin as we did from Trump himself on policy changes, just with many more urine puns.

The now infamous "failing pile of garbage" and "overrated fake news" lines even made it in the skit. Does Trump get a cut of Baldwin's pay for writing part of the script himself? Maybe if the President-Elect was more closely involved, his incessant Twitter stabs at SNL would finally stop.
