StreetScene Rehab Centres is piloting a chemsex recovery program for LGBT addicts, a panel revealed during Gay Star News's Digital Pride event.
Chemsex, like party 'n' play or high and horny, refers to sex with one or more partners under the influence of a cocktail of crystal meth, GHB and others. Chemsex parties have become increasingly popular in Great Britain, where authorities are starting to treat the practice as a public health crisis.
During the Digital Pride panel, Reggie Taylor (DJ Fat Tony) talked about the chemsex recovery program currently under development at the Allington House in Bournemouth, England.
The discussion followed a viewing of the short film "G O'Clock," a drama about the risks of the chemsex party scene.
