'KFC will not tolerate discrimination.'
KFC has responded to the reports of a Virginia woman being fired for being trans, which, unfortunately, is perfectly legal in Virginia.
After being hired and beginning training, Georgia Carter says the manager rescinded his offer when he saw her gender said "male" on her license.
"'Oh, we can't hire you because we don't know which bathroom you can use,'" Carter says the manager told her.
Amid the outrage, the fried chicken chain responded to a user's tweet about the incident:
\u201c@elielcruz KFC will not tolerate discrimination. The franchisee terminated this manager & Ms Carter was offered a job at any Richmond KFC\u201d— KFC (@KFC) 1456843159
