"We support our LGBT+ users and staff, and we stand against any person or group that would see them further marginalized."

Bandcamp has announced plans to donate 100 percent of their share of every sale on Friday, August 4th to the Transgender Law Center.

Their decision comes in response to President Trump's transgender military ban, and aims to support the nonprofit organization's mission of changing laws, policies and attitudes so people can live freely regardless of their gender identity.

"Bandcamp is a platform for artistic expression, and all manner of variance in experience and identity, including gender and sexuality, is welcome here," they said in a statement. "We support our LGBT+ users and staff, and we stand against any person or group that would see them further marginalized."

Fans can support the TLC by purchasing music on Bandcamp from midnight to midnight Pacific Time. The site is also encouraging artists and labels to donate some or all of their shares from Friday's sales directly to the Center.

They also featured a list of all the transgender musicians who've been featured on Bandcamp throughout the years, from Mykki Blanco to Theda Hammel and ANOHNI. Click here for more information.
