Perfume Genius released today the second single off his forthcoming album, No Shape, called "Go Ahead." The OUT100 alumnus shared the track during a Twitter Q&A, telling fans, "I'm very proud of this one."

Where Mike Hadreas' lead single, "Slip Away," was explosive and packed tight with cinematic sounds, his latest is noticeably sparse and subdued--an exact opposite in almost every way.
The queer vocalist coos amidst eclectic, sporadic percussion and organic strings, ultimately rebelling against traditional song structures and melodies. "Go ahead and try," Hadreas sings, his vocals soft and reserved.
