Katy Perry Dropped Disco Balls Around the World to Promote Her New Single

Katy Cats must have all felt chained to 2013 when Katy Perry released Prism, her last full-length album.But today, those Cats were finally let loose, as disco balls began popping up around the world to promote her new single, "Chained to the Rhythm."

Locations for Perry's disco balls are mapped out online, and fans are encouraged to bring their own headphones and pop them into the ball for a private listening session. Perry's single--reportedly co-written with Sia, produced by Max Martin and featuring Skip Marley--will be released Friday, ahead of Perry's Grammy Awards performance on Sunday.
