The rapper's single "Bodak Yellow" was certified platinum just last month, where it garnered more than 500,000 digital downloads and 440 million streams in the U.S. After three weeks at number one, Cardi B is still coasting the apex of countless charts, including Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Rhythmic charts.

"[Cardi B] is one rare breed of unique artists who the industry only witnesses occasionally," Sony/ATV co-president Rick Krim said in an announcement. "We are honored that Sony/ATV will get to work with this special talent who is not just impacting music but pop culture as well."

Cardi B also announced her excitement, taking to social media to share the news and squash rumors surrounding "Bodak Yellow's" supposed ghost writer.

"When [haters] be poppin shit under my comments like oooo 'she don't write her shit' sooo how I got a publishing deal then?!!!!" Cardi B wrote in an Instagram post. "I'm so happy to be with my new family Sony/ATV. 'Bodak Yellow' is only the beginning and we're just getting started."

Congrats Cardi B! What bitch is working as hard as you?
