EXCLUSIVE: Monarchy Debut ‘Tuxedos and Tonic Water’ Mix

DJ duo Monarchy (a.k.a. Andrew Armstrong and Ra Black) have been pumping out some excellent electro/Nu-disco tunes for a minute now. Ever since releasing their first LP, Around the Sun, in 2011, the pair have been remixed by the likes of Benny Benassi, Tim Goldsworthy, Bag Raiders.

Now, finally after four years, Monarchy is releasing their sophomore album, Abnocto, on March 10. Preempting this is their stellar, "Tuxedos and Tonic Water" mix.

'We needed to escape the cold clutches of winter, to remember sunshine, long days, festivals and our friends around the world," said the London-based duo on the mix. "So we mixed some winter warmer tracks together, tinges of disco, garage and house, things we've been listening to and enjoying, imagining another summer."

Uptempo, eclectic, cohesive, and brilliant, "Tuxedos and Tonic Water" demonstrates that Armstrong and Black are masters on the decks. We've got the track lists for both "Tuxedos and Tonic Water" and Abnocto below.
