Has there ever been a man more fabulous than Andre Leon Talley? Whether he was clad in one of his beloved kaftans or an expertly tailored outfit, the former Vogue editor-at-large and eternal fashion icon has had a full life since beginning his career in Andy Warhol's famed Factory.

Since the 1970s, Talley has pushed to include African American models and designers in fashion magazines and championed them on the runway -- and now he's getting the inevitable cinematic treatment. The Gospel According to Andre is tracing the cultural icon's rise from the Factory to the halls of Vogue with archival footage and interviews with everyone from Anna Wintour and Marc Jacobs to Tom Ford and Valentino.
