Budding writer and director, Miles Joris-Peyrafitte makes his feature film debut at age 23 with As You Are. The '90s coming-of-age drama gives today's sexually progressive generation a grunge love story. The Hollywood Reporter's exclusive trailer showcases some powerful performances in an inevitably tragic story.
In addition to its green writer-director, the film boasts some of our favorite up and coming actors: Amandla Stenberg (Hunger Games), Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things), and Owen Campbell (Boardwalk Empire) star as three teenagers in a love triangle that would be deemed controversial even in today's era of sexual fluidity. Those who were actually around for the '90s might also recognize Mary Stuart Masterson (Fried Green Tomatoes).
