Happy Friday, Out readers!

This weekend is the 16th annual Dyke Day LA, and I can't wait to go!

Dyke Day LA is a non-profit volunteer organization "whose vision is to create community gatherings that center inclusivity."

For the last 16 years, the organization has hosted an annual day in the park for dykes, queers, and allies that "celebrates queers of all genders and ages."

The event is one of my favorite Pride events each year. I love to see dykes of all ages, presentations, and even genders coming together to celebrate each other and our community. The event includes DJs, games for kids, drag kings, booths, food trucks, and more, and it's amazing each year.

What are some of your favorite Pride traditions and events?

Now, onto the news.

Gayest Song of the Week

The Gayest Song of the Week goes out to queer rapper Doechii for her new song "MPH," a rapid-fire, intense banger that we are loving!

Comment of the Week

The comment of the week goes to Brian Schubert, who commented on our post looking back at Pride 30 years ago. "Thank you for this!! ❤️❤️" he wrote. "I am incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to stand on the shoulders of so many people who fought (sometimes with their lives) to allow us to have the rights that we fight to keep to this day!!"
