Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin on Strictly Come Dancing season 21
BBC

The actor and his male partner are making waves on season 21 of Strictly Come Dancing!

High marks across the board!

Layton Williams and his dance partner Nikita Kuzmin are the only same-sex pair competing in season 21 of Strictly Come Dancing. Even though Williams has been getting some casual and annoying homophobic attacks on social media, he is absolutely blowing away the judges and smashing the competition.

During the week-four episode, Williams and Kuzmin danced the cha-cha-cha to the tune of Whitney Houston’s “Million Dollar Bill,” and their performance went on to break two records on the show. First and foremost, Williams and Nikita received the highest score in this season of Strictly Come Dancing thus far.

Furthermore, Williams and Kuzmin also received a perfect score of 10 from judge Motsi Mabuse, which was the earliest 10 for a cha-cha-cha in Strictly history!

“The earliest 10 for a cha-cha-cha in #Strictly history, now that is a Million Dollar dance,” the official Instagram page for Strictly Come Dancing shared on Instagram.

Williams and Kuzmin also took to social media to share their happiness and thank fans for their support. The actor wrote in the post:

“What a week. What a night. Through to week 5! So grateful... THANK YOU to everyone who voted. We love you.”

It’s no secret that Williams has been slaying the competition on Strictly Come Dancing, and we couldn’t be happier to see it!

Strictly Come Dancing season 21 is now airing on BBC One in the UK.
