Navigating life with roommates can be a complex endeavor, filled with both challenges and rewards. But have you ever pondered what it might be like to share your living space with two gay roommates?

At the Los Angeles premiere of Hulu's latest series, Mid-Century Modern, Out caught up with the show's stars and guest actors to gather their insights and advice for those considering such a living arrangement, which is portrayed in the show about gay chosen family cohabitating in Palm Springs.

Nathan Lee Graham, who brings to life the character of Arthur Broussard, emphasized the virtue of patience. "Patience," he advised, before adding with a chuckle, "Also, wet wipes."

Matt Bomer, portraying Jerry Frank in the series, highlighted the aesthetic and cultural benefits of having gay roommates. "Lucky you, because your apartment is about to look fantastic," he remarked.

"It's going to be organized, but screen so you don't get a mess. You'll have culture, class, and sophistication. The decor will be on fleek — cocktail parties and after parties. Also, a shoulder to cry on because we are willing to listen and not just only spill the tea."

Nathan Lane, who plays Bunny Schneiderman, highlighted the importance of personal boundaries and collective decision-making.

"You want to make sure everyone has their own space, so they can go off and have time for themselves," he noted, adding, "Also work as a group and make decisions together."

Mid-Century Modern is now streaming on Hulu.
