The wait is almost over for the second season of Heartstopper!

The opening scene of Heartstopper season two has now been released online. In it, Charlie (Joe Locke) gets lovey-dovey DMs from Nick (Kit Connor), who is now his official boyfriend. The texts range from wishing each other a good morning to talking about how much kissing they’re going to do. Charlie then heads into school and is greeted by Nick after entering a classroom.

This new clip also revealed the titles of the episodes coming up in the second season: “Out” (ep. 1), “Family” (ep. 2), “Promise” (ep. 3), “Charlie” (ep. 4), “Heat” (ep. 5), “Truth/Dare” (ep. 6), “Sorry” (ep. 7), “Perfect” (ep. 8).

Most of the actors from season one are returning for this second season. That includes Yasmin Finney (Elle), William Gao (Tao), Corinna Brown (Tara), Kizzy Edgell (Darcy), Sebastian Croft (Ben), Tobie Donovan (Isaac), Rhea Norwood (Imogen), Jenny Walser (Tori), Cormac Hyde-Corrin (Harry), and Olivia Colman (Sarah).

New additions to Heartstopper season two include Leila Khan (Sahar Zahid), Jack Barton (David Nelson), Bel Priestley (Naomi), and Ash Self (Felix).

We can’t wait to see how this season will play out for some of our favorite LGBTQ+ characters on TV!

Heartstopper season two premieres August 3 on Netflix.
