After a four-year break, Rue and her group of misfits are finally going to grace our screens again!

Euphoria returns on Sunday with the third — and predictably final — season of the hit HBO show that stars Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, and Alexa Demie.

The new season will jump forward in time by five years and plenty has gone down during that period. Rue (Zendaya) is running from drug traffickers in Mexico, Jules (Hunter Schafer) is working as a high-end sugar baby to pay for art school, and Nate (Jacob Elordi) is married to Cassie (Sydney Sweeeney), who is creating adult content on a fan site similar to OnlyFans.

Fans are dying to know what turmoil, chaos, and heartbreak are in store for season three, as the first two seasons had no shortage of wild moments.

Although the show might not be as queer as Heated Rivalry, The L Word, or Fellow Travelers, Euphoria is full of Gen Z’s delightful brand of sexual and gender fluidity, which means that throughout its first two seasons, there were plenty of dramatic moments to keep LGBTQ+ fans happy.

Ahead of the season three premiere, let's rank Euphoria's seven top gay moments on! Catch new episodes on HBO and HBO Max beginning this Sunday, April 12.

7. Jules has sex with Nate’s closeted dad

Trans character Jules has a penchant for sleeping with older men in an attempt to make herself feel more feminine, which leads to her having sex with the mysterious “DominantDaddy" in season one, who turns out to be Nate's father Cal, played by the late Eric Dane.

Nate discovers the truth when he watches his dad’s sex tape and ends up catfishing Jules in a misguided and disturbing attempt to protect his family.

6. Jules cheats on Rue with Elliot

Rue befriends Elliot in season two, but while he has feelings for her, she doesn’t return them, and Jules ends up cheating on Rue by hooking up with Elliot and keeping it a secret from her.

The whole thing is a mess, and their fractured relationship closes out the second season, leaving fans reeling and waiting years for season three to get some kind of resolution.

5. 'Why don't you kiss me'

At the end of the first season, Jules asks Rue why she doesn’t kiss her, to which Rue responds, "I kiss you!"

Jules agrees to this, but says Rue doesn’t "kiss-kiss me." The moment is so full of sexual tension that it made fans weak in the knees and further cemented Jules and Rue — dubbed “Rules” by fans — as the couple everyone wanted to be end game.

4. Elliot says he's 'kinda' gay

Elliot, who hooks up with Jules, admits to her that he doesn’t think of his own sexuality "in a particularly rigid way."

When Jules asks him if he’s straight, he responds, "Kinda," and when she asks him if he’s gay, he says, "Kinda" again. The scene encapsulates the way the show touches on how fluid and ever-evolving sexuality can be.

3. Cal and Derek's kiss

Nate’s dad Cal is a closeted queer character who lives life full of internalized shame. He even lives a secret life from his family where he sleeps with men and trans women.

In season two, fans finally get a bit of a backstory in a flashback where Cal and his best friend, Derek, sharing an tender and romantic dance and kiss in a gay bar.

2. Rue and Jules' first proper kiss

Jules and Rue have a lot of dramatic moments over the course of the show — and that's unlikely to be any different in season three — but they are the fan-favorite couple for a reason.

Rue may have kissed Jules once before when it was reciprocated, but the pair share their first real kiss in season one, episode four after Jules learns that Nate has been catfishing her.

1. Lexi's play

One of season two's most memorable episodes was "The Theater and It's Double Life," which was all about Lexi's meta musical Our Life.

The iconic scene included a dance number where a faux-version of Nate dances in a gym with a bunch of half-naked twunks and coined the legendary phrase, "Wait... is this f*cking play about us?!"

Hunky men grind on each other in front of an audience is probably the gayest thing that's ever happened on the show, so let's see if season three can beat it!
