Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov are so hot for each other, even their doppelgängers can’t keep their hands off each other!
While most of us are busy "reheating" at home — the term for rewatching Heated Rivalry — some fans were celebrating their love of the gay hockey romance with a look-alike contest that turned almost as steamy as the show.
Washington D.C. hosted a Heated Rivalry casting call on Saturday when a look-alike contest for Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander was held at the Wunder Garten.
The event quickly went viral on social media when the man who won as Ilya Rozanov made out with both of the Shane Hollander finalists to see who would come out on top.
And they didn’t just kiss. The men devoured each other — butt grabs and all — while the crowd cheered.
Felix, aka Ilya Rozanov’s doppelgänger, told Live From the Trenches of the Dating Scene that he wants "more yearning" in 2026 after kissing the Shane Hollander hotties.
“The one today was really good,” he said. "That was like a top-tier meet cute, like tell the kids one day. Well, I met your father — the first time we met, we made out in front of many people and many phones. It’s a good story.”
The make-out session went so well that, according to social media, the Shane and Ilya impersonators went on a date together after the event.
Despite kissing multiple Shane Hollander look-alikes before ever having a conversation, Felix said he loves Heated Rivalry for the slow-burn romance.
"The slow burn is almost something that I think is good to believe in," he said. "I think people are so quick to cut someone off if it’s not immediately going right or not immediately working."
