A new queen has entered the Drag Race Hall of Fame!

Editor’s note: this post contains MAJOR spoilers for the grand finale of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 8.

After a fierce competition that involved several alliances, a queen quitting the show, the first-ever finale with only a top two, and the brand-new Fame Games twist, Jimbo and Kandy Muse made it to the end of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 8 for a chance to snatch the crown and enter the Drag Race Hall of Fame.

The top-two finalists of All Stars 8 arrived at this grand finale with very different track records.

On one hand, Jimbo won four maxi challenges: the “RDR Live!” acting challenge, the “Screen Queens” teaser challenge, the Snatch Game (as Shirley Temple), and the roast challenge. Jimbo only fell in the bottom two once in the makeover challenge that took place in the top three.

On the other hand, Kandy Muse won two maxi challenges: the “Joan: The Unauthorized Rusical” challenge and the makeover challenge. Meanwhile, Muse fell in the bottom two twice – in the design challenge and in the roast challenge.

Just like in the all-winners season of 2022, the winner of All Stars 8 not only entered the Drag Race Hall of Fame, but also received the grand prize of $200,000. As expected, Jimbo and Muse went head-to-head in a lip sync for the crown.

And we now have an officially crowned winner of All Stars 8

Jimbo has officially won RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 8. As the newly-crowned winner, Jimbo has become the first queen from an international season to enter the Drag Race Hall of Fame. After winning four maxi challenges throughout the season, Jimbo was the clear frontrunner in the competition and was deservedly crowned as the champion of All Stars 8.

In the two weeks that led up to the finale, Jimbo kept up a significant lead in fan support to win this season. On Instagram, the official #TeamJimbo poster garnered 178,000 likes as the finale dropped on Paramount+, against 50,500 likes on the #TeamKandy poster.

Jimbo has come a long way since finishing in fourth place on Canada’s Drag Race season one and getting eliminated halfway through the competition on the first-ever edition of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs the World. Now, the Canadian queen has officially joined the ranks of Chad Michaels, Alaska, Trixie Mattel, Monét X Change, Trinity The Tuck, Shea Couleé, and Kylie Sonique Love in the Drag Race Hall of Fame.

Congratulations to Jimbo!
