Gay adult actor Seth Peterson has died at age 28, according to a social media statement released over the weekend by his fiancé, Cyrus Stark.
The message, which was posted to Peterson’s X account, read: “It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my Fiance and best friend Seth. I’m truly at a loss for words, and my heart is broken.”
Stark, who did not provide information about his deceased partner’s cause of death, signed the note as “Kobe.” Under the name Kobe Marsh, Stark frequently collaborated with Peterson on adult productions beginning in 2025.
News of Peterson’s premature death sparked an outpouring of affection from fans, many of whom discovered him through his projects for the well-known adult film company Helix Studios. Among the hundreds of thousands of X users who viewed the post were former collaborators, friends, and followers who described the actor as talented, caring, and a pleasure to encounter both on and off screen.
In a message echoed by many, one user wrote: "He was the best actor in the porn world and even a great person out of that. R.I.P Seth you will be missed."
Peterson, who was nominated for multiple industry awards during his relatively short-lived career, rose to prominence in the early 2020s through his collaborations with Helix, before eventually branching out to other platforms. Following his death, Stark announced, a GoFundMe page has been set up for fans and loved ones who wish to help cover the actor's funeral costs.
