Kehlani is back, baby!
Get ready to "Move Ya Body" to Kehlani's hot new single "After Hours," which samples Cordel "Scatta" Burrell's iconic "Coolie Dance Riddim," as also heard in Nina Sky's hit 2004 single "Move Ya Body."
That's right, Kehlani has released her first solo single since 2022's "Everything," and it's a total vibe, perfectly suited to become this year's song of the summer.
The video has a super strong vacation mood, following Kehlani and their crew as they go out for a night of drinking, dancing, and being extremely hot. Directed by Amber Park, the video was filmed at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas.
"I wanna make magic, I want you to feel me. I want you to grab it, I want you to steal me," she sings. "Why don't you stay, stay here after hours. I know you don't wanna leave, stay here after hours."
Soon Kehlani is dancing around a pool in a gold and lace swimsuit and going through a hotel in a dress made out of hundred dollar bills. Kehlani never misses!
The new dance track is Kehlani's first solo release since 2022 when she released her album Blue Water Road. It's already gotten over 20 million streams globally, with 4.6 million in the US, making it the strongest debut of the singer's career.
Kehlani hasn't officially announced a new album, but has teased that she has more music coming later this year! And we can't wait!
