Chappell Roan had the entire crowd of celebrities smiling, singing along, and giving the singer a well-deserved standing ovation at the 2025 Grammy Awards.

Chappell Roan just blew the doors off the Grammys with a triumphant performance of her hit song "Pink Pony Club," which she dedicated to the city of Los Angeles.

Roan's performance was part of this year's Grammys tribute to Los Angeles due to the recent wildfires that burned over 50,000 acres.

In a video introducing her Grammy Awards performance, Roan talked about being born in Missouri and feeling like she didn't fit in because she's gay. She then made it to Los Angeles and came to terms with her sexuality, describing "Pink Pony Club" as her "love letter to LA."

"I grew up in southwest Missouri in a small town called Willard. I felt very isolated. I felt like I was never good enough because I was gay," the singer explained. "I think my younger self really needed a girl like me to look up to. 'Pink Pony Club' is my love letter to L.A. I love this city. L.A. gave me the courage to be myself because, ultimately, it is where I feel the most free."

Roan's performance featured a troupe of dancing rodeo clowns, a huge Pink Pony, and the entire Grammys audience singing along.

When the performance ended, Roan got a standing ovation from the audience. While this is her first time being nominated at the Grammys, Roan has an impressive six Grammy nominations, including Best New Artist, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year.

The 67th Grammy Awards aired Sunday, Feb. 2 on CBS and Paramount+.
