Britney Spears shared a series of new posts on social media this week, and one of them stood out due to the singer's acknowledgement of her dancing videos and remarks about wanting to perform again — just not in the U.S., it seems.
"Sending this piano to my son this year!!!" the pop star wrote. "Interestingly enough, I dance on IG to heal things in my body that people have no idea about. Yup and it's embarrassing sometimes… but I walked through the fire to save my life…"
Spears continued, "I will never perform in the U.S. again because of extremely sensitive reasons but I hope to be sitting on a stool with a red rose in my hair, in a bun, performing with my son… in the UK and AUSTRALIA very soon. He's a huge star and I'm so humbled to be in his presence!!!"
"God speed, little man!!!" the superstar ended the post.
It's unclear which "extremely sensitive reasons" Spears is referencing, but the choice to skip the U.S. for a new tour — or series of performances — is a choice that prompted reggaetonero Bad Bunny to make headlines throughout 2025 and become a target for conservative audiences.
Between Sean Preston Federline and Jayden James Federline, Spears is specifically referring to Jayden James, whose musical prowess she's praised in the past (via TMZ).
In December, People reported that Spears spent Christmas with Jayden James, whereas her other son, Sean Preston, reportedly spent the holidays with Jamie Lynn Spears (Britney's sister).
Spears's most recent album is still 2016's Glory. Moreover, the pop star hasn't toured since 2018's Piece of Me Tour.
