"If I'm dying, I'd rather do it while having fun and looking good," says creator João Dall'Stella.

These sexy, spooky shorts will get you in the perfect mood for Halloween!

Just in time for Halloween season, Brazilian writer and director João Dall'Stella is releasing a new series of shorts on social media entitled Hot Ways To Die, that brings queer talent and horror together for a deliciously devilish treat.

“For years, I was afraid of being queer and coming out of the closet,” Dall’Stella said. “It took me a while to realize that living authentically means letting go of that fear. It's similar to watching a scary movie – when you face your fear, there's a sense of relief and excitement about what's next.”

“Embrace your true darkness,” he added. “As queer people, we fight a constant battle every day of our lives. I want everyone to know how powerful they are and that being ourselves authentically is the most important thing in our lives.”

Each video portrait touches on a different aspect of gay life, and each stars a queer cast and crew. They range from “a butt-eating vampire, a glory hole of death, and even a cheeky nod to what happens inside every gym steam room.”

Other installments will include a “one-of-a-kind jack-o-lantern in “Smiling,” “a silky nightmare” in “During Climax,” and “a gory downpour” in “In the Shower.” Other stars include Davi Stefond and Michael Lyons.

The series will be released now through Halloween on João’s Instagram and TikTok.
