During their conversation, the two pop superstars stumbled into a possible tease about a future collaboration.
While interviewing Grande about her performance as Glinda in the Wicked film, Eilish tried to explain that she only had a few more questions left but mistakenly said "a few more songs" instead.
"Songs? Did I say songs?" Eilish asked (via People), prompting fans to cheer and encourage the two of them to sing together.
Eilish explained, "Oh my god, I meant questions. I'm on tour, you guys; I'm used to saying that. Sorry."
"We do need to do that though," Grande replied, drawing even more cheers. "We do need to do that," Eilish agreed.
Grande said, "But she has shows, she's saving. We're good, we're both resting for now."
"That's true. I would love to do that," Eilish replied, and Grande agreed: "Me too!"
Elsewhere in the interview, Eilish said that she's been a longtime fan of Grande's and would comment on her YouTube videos when she was younger.
"There's many things where I commented like, 'God, I just love Ariana so much,'" Eilish revealed to Grande. "And I used to call you 'Ari' to my brother. And he'd be like, 'Don't call her Ari. You don't know her."
