Meet the Guys Starring in the 'Red, White & Royal Blue' Movie
Alex & Prince Henry are here!
The live-action adaptation of Red, White & Royal Blue has cast its two male leads.
Based on the New York Times best-selling novel Red, White & Royal Blue written by Casey McQuiston, this story follows the Mexican-American son of the President of the United States, Alex, as he falls in love with a royal in the United Kingdom, Prince Henry. The book quickly became a fan-favorite LGBTQ+ rom-com among readers, so it's a thrill that Amazon Prime Video is now giving the book a cinematic treatment.
The film is being directed and adapted to the big screen by Matthew Lopez (The Inheritance). Besides the two main characters, the cast of Red, White & Royal Blue also features Clifton Collins Jr. (Westworld), Sarah Shahi (Sex/Life), and Stephen Fry (The Dropout).

Taylor Zakhar Perez
Taylor Zakhar Perez will be playing Alex Claremont-Diaz, the son of first-ever female President of the United States, Ellen Claremont. Perez is best known for his roles as Shane on HBO Max's Minx and as Marco Valentin Pena in the two sequels of Netflix's The Kissing Booth. As an actor of Mexican descent, Perez is perfect to play the Mexican-American First Son of the United States in the movie.
Nicholas Galitzine
Best known for playing Prince Robert on Amazon Prime Video's Cinderella adaptation, Nicholas Galitzine will be playing Prince Henry Fox-Mountchristen-Windsor in Red, White & Royal Blue. The character, who's third in line to the British throne, falls in love with Alex over the course of the original novel. Other than Cinderella, Galitzine is known for playing Johnnie Blackwell in High Strung, Tom in The Beat Beneath My Feet, and Conor Masters in Handsome Devil.
