Emma Corrin Is Set to Star in a Steamy New Netflix Film

Emma Corrin

Oooh, this is gonna be one raunchy ride!

The Crown star Emma Corrin is preparing for her next role, and it's going to be their sexiest yet!

According to Glamour UK, Corrin is starring in Netflix's upcoming adaptation of the famously explicit and raunchy novel Lady Chatterley's Lover.

Written by D.H. Lawrence and first published in 1928, the novel was initially banned in the UK for over thirty years due to its explicit content. The book follows a married woman who has a torrid affair with the gamekeeper at her estate and contains explicit sexual scenes and a lot of swearing.

In 1960, the book was the subject of a famous obscenity trial against the publisher Penguin Books. When Penguin was found "not guilty," it opened up literature to a far greater degree of freedom when it came to publishing explicit material in the U.K.

The film will also star Jack O'Connell (Skins) and Matthew Duckett (A Confession), and is being directed by Laure de Clermont-Tonnerre.

Corrin became a superstar after playing Princess Diana on Netflix's The Crown, a role for which they won a Golden Globe and have been nominated for an Emmy. She's also starring opposite Harry Styles in the upcoming bisexual cop period drama My Policeman.

Corrin came out as queer this spring, posting an image of themself in a wedding dress with the caption, "Ur fave queer bride" on Instagram. They later updated their pronouns to she/they and said that she sometimes wears binders, a popular compression garment for nonbinary and trans people.

No release date has been announced just yet for Lady Chatterley's Lover, but we can't wait to see Emma nail this role!
