It's the first time the jeweler uses a gay couple in its advertising
The jeweler Tiffany & Co. debuted a new campaign featuring a same-sex couple -- a first for the 178-year-old brand.
The engagement ring ad features a real-life New York City couple Eric Bourne, a dancer, and Thomas Trube, a fashion executive. The pair is photographed by Peter Lindbergh on a brownstone stoop.
The campaign's tagline reads: "Will you promise to never stop completing my sentences or singing off-key, which I'm afraid you do often? And will you let today be the first sentence of one long story that never, ever ends?"
