The prints capture the couple in their signature baroque style, a mix of Pierre's photography and Gilles's painted embellishments, which turned them into key figures of the French art scene in the 1980s.
Shown here in a series of eight provocative scenes, they're depicted in turn as glittering sailors, camp cosmonauts, rockabilly pistoleros, or in a splendid wedding attire --long before gay marriage became a matter of public interest.
London-based label Ginza works closely with artists to blend art and fashion, curating online exhibitions with the same artists featured on their apparel. Their T-shirts are manufactured in Italy, using fine, soft sheen Turkish cotton, and printed in high-res with eco-friendly, water-based inks.
Almost as precious as the original artwork, each Pierre & Gilles tee has a limited 500 print run, and comes wrapped with a certificate of authenticity. Up to you to pick your favorite!
