Photographer Ron Amato's portfolio is full of gorgeous (and often nude) gay men, and this year, Amato turned his lens on an iconic LGBTQ+ hot spot -- Provincetown, Massachusettes -- to capture the comeback of the town's iconic dance party FagBash, which recently returned in full swing after being shut down during the pandemic.
Event organizers call themselves a "collection of misfits stationed in Provincetown, MA. We bring nightlife reminiscent of actual nightlife and we dress accordingly."
Amato, who says he had been speaking with FagBash founder Mark Louque about making portraits of attendees for a while, was able to see that project to fruition this year. He photographed two FagBash parties, one during this year's Bear Week, and has shared some of the best with Out.
