For the past few years Nike's BeTrue collection has centered on flags. In 2019 it was the original Pride flag designed by Gilbert Baker. then, in 2020 it was Amber Hikes, "More Color, More Pride" flag which added brown and black stripes to the original in order to incorporate racial inclusivity as a central tenet. This year, they continue that work.
For the 2021 collection, the brand has turned nine of the LGBTQ+ flags into patches that can be adorned on any of the silhouettes via velcro strips. The shoes themselves include Blazer '77 Low, the Air Max Pre Day, and the Infinity React Run 2. There's also an All Out Utility Slide that is a slide with a zippable pouch.
The collection, which also includes apparel, is available now. Footwear ranges in price from $45 to $160.
