Antoni Porowski might be the food expert on Netflix's Queer Eye, but he's certainly got his fingers in more pots than just that. His latest project: launching a fashion collection, his first in fact.
On Wednesday, Porowski released a 10-piece "sustainably minded" capsule collection with J Brand. The range includes six pants, a leather trucker jacket, bomber jacket, and two graphic tees.
"Leave it to me to launch a capsule collection with J Brand during a global pandemic where most of us have nowhere to be but home on the couch, but here we are," Porowski said in a statement. "Fortunately, these pieces -- like my go-to skinny silhouette in three classic denim washes and my matching leather pant and jacket getup are as classic as mozzarella sticks and tameless enough to last beyond the days of social distancing and sourdough starters."
Porowski's pant styles are The Modern Skinny, which is a fit based on J Brand's Mick style, but updated with a higher rise and slimmer leg opening. The other aforementioned pieces (Tees, a trucker jacket, and a vintage-inspired bomber) round out the collection.
Prices range from $128 to $1,128 and with an eye to the environment, denim washes in the collection use an average of 90% less water in the wash process than is typical, while other styles use recycled thread, premium organic cotton, and responsibly sourced leather. The capsule is available on J Brand's site and in-stores at Bloomingdale's.
