Telfar Replaced Their Runway With a Dev Hynes & Kelela Concert
Telfar's NYFW runway took a different approach to the typical, conservative catwalks we've seen so far across Manhattan. Instead, the show was a concert, with musicians doubling as performers and models of the new line. "Instead of a runway show we are throwing a concert. Instead of using musicians for their celebrity -- we are seeking a core musicality that is shared and human," the show notes explained of Telfar Clemens' latest collection, titled "Music." Among the performers for the star-studded event were Dev Hynes, Kelela, Walter Pearce, Alton Mason, Oyinda, Ian Isiah, Adonis Bosso, Arsun Sorrenti, and Telfar himself.

The show also marked the brand's commercial debut: the line will be available at department store Century 21, where Telfar also held their afterparty.
