Aliens Invade Earth in Search of Style in Moncler’s Moonray Short Film

According the Moncler, aliens won't be invading Earth to hoard our natural resources or enact their plans of galactic domination. Instead it will be our style they seek, specifically Moncler's fall '17 collection.

In the brand's short film showcasing the collection, two space explorers face off against an alien and his "style-swapping" gun on the icy planet of Galgax. Unfortunately our adventurers are struck by the ray, granting the alien a chic ensemble and leaving the duo in their skivvies. Once the alien has had a taste of Earth's fashion, it rallies an armada to invade the planet, hungry for more.

This season, Moncler drew inspiration from man's conquest of the moon, featuring oversize duvet-parkas with wide boudins and wrap-around collars, and sleeveless jackets with soft details in kalgan, all in a silvery metallic sheen. "The imagination teems with '70s references and themes that flooded fashion after man's momentous landing on the moon," the brand said in a release.
