The Perry Ellis fall-winter 2015 collection will debut this Thursday, February 12, during New York Fashion Week, but creative director Michael Maccari decided to give us a sneak peek of what to expect.
In his second collection for the brand, Maccari was inspired by the proportions and stripped-down styling of utilitarian clothing: "I explored the intersection between workwear and sportswear," the designer said. "I used more volume, and less trim and detail to allow for the function elements and technical fabrics to shine through."
Through a variety of fabrics, Maccari reworked shapes and patterns to increase functionality. Click through to see the preview.
