Rockwell Painting Recreated With Lesbian Moms

Recreating Rockwell's iconic 'Freedom From Want,' this 'For What Matters Most' Tylenol ad features expanded versions of the American family, according to the artist's granddaughter, Abigail Rockwell.

Tylenol's "For What Matters Most" campaign features heartwarming portraits of modern American families. For this one, the four parents of the Beser Carr Schneider Musich family are featured recreating the "Freedom From Want" painting with a wholesome family gathered for Thanksgiving. This time, however, it includes a same-sex lesbian couple at the head of the table.

"The core of Norman Rockwell's is about coming together, just being present for each moment," Abigail Rockwell's voiceover explains. "Family is what you make it out to be."
