The Hunger Games Reveal Mockingjay Posters

The popular young adult franchise played host to a devious display of modern trickery earlier this week as it sent fans scrambling through a series of QR codes and clues to unlock posters for the upcoming The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1. Leaking the images through it's District13.co.in (nice touch with the domain name, Madame President), the film has been premiering hi-res images through various outlets, including IGN and MTV.

The posters depict Hunger Games mainstays Plutarch Heavensbee (played by the sadly departed Philip Seymour Hoffman), Haymitch Abernathy, the normally bright and colorful Effie Trinket, etc. all wearing what are, for some, uncharacteristic drab gray outfits and leaning against a gray brick wall.

These new posters follow some seriously delicious teasers and District Heroes campaign images featuring Alex Minsky and Mr L.A. Leather.
