Ellen DeGeneres Is Among Forbes' Most Powerful Women

Forbes magazine released its annual ranking of the World's 100 Most Powerful Women. The list, which gathers together women in politics, media, fashion and film, features only one out lesbian.
At #46, Ellen DeGeneres -- Out's most powerful LGBT person of 2014 -- lands above Angelina Jolie (#50), Lady Gaga (#67), and Diane von Furstenberg (#68).
Other notable women on the list are Hillary Clinton, who lands two spots above Michelle Obama, at #6, Oprah Winfrey (#14), Beyonce (#17), Nancy Pelosi (#26), and Anna Wintour (#39). German chancellor Angela Merkel topped the list.
