Fund This: Travis Wall & Shaping Sound Want to Create a Dance Film

The dance company is raising money to take their moves from the stage to the screen

Shaping Sound, a contemporary dance company comprised of Travis Wall, Nick Lazzarini, Teddy Forance and Kyle Robinson, is teaming up with CLI Films to bring their show to the screen. In order to create the independent film, they need your help.

After appearing on So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing With The Stars, Travis Wall, Nick Lazzarini, Teddy Forance teamed up with Kyle Robinson to form Shaping Sound. Their evolution as a group was seen on Oxygen'sAll The Right Moves.

Following the show and a successful national tour, the company wants to return to the screen in order to bring audiences a unique dance experience.

The hope is to work with CLI Films to take dance out of the theater in order to explore new staging and new ideas that only moving cameras can capture. Shaping Sound is also enlisting the help of world-renowned composer Olafur Arnalds, who will score the film.

The company is turning to Kickstarter to raise $60,000 in order to capture their artistic creation on film. With 22 days left in the campaign, they are well on their way to meeting their goal. As of Monday, the campaign has raised over 60 percent of its funding needs.

The question is, do you want to watch a film about dance? Thanks to the pretty faces of Shaping Sound, it's hard not to be interested. Rewards for funders include posters, autographed DVDs, company tee shirts and even a producer credit.

The campaign ends on Dec. 25th, so there's plenty of time to make sure the boys have a happy Christmas.
