Channing Tatum Named People's 'Sexiest Man Alive'

We already knew Channing Tatum was sexy, and called him "The Complete Package" on our June cover.

But now People went and made him the Sexiest Man Alive for 2012. And we admit, he's looking pretty damn sexy--even on a People cover.

"My first thought was, 'Y'all are messing with me,'" Tatum tells People. The actor married actress Jenna Dewan-Tatum in 2009. "I told Jenna after we'd been in the bathtub washing our dogs because they'd gotten skunked."

Although we loved his look in 21 Jump Street and, of course, Magic Mike, Chan is currently training to play an Olympic athlete in next year's Foxcatcher. Yeah, in case you're wondering Tatum is all muscle (and heart!) at 195 pounds.

"I like to be lean. If I get too bulky I can't move well and I like to move," he tells People. "When I'm not training, I get really round and soft."

As he told us at the time, he's not really a veggie guy. Tatum confessed that he has a "texture" issue with fruits and vegetables, which is problematic when you are also avoiding meat. His wife made him go vegan for two months. "I gained weight, because I don't like vegetables, so I basically had to wrap them in bread," he said. "I will never eat a raw tomato. I can do the shit out of some tomato sauce, or even sun-dried tomatoes, but never raw."
