It seems we've entered a new phase in new media's relationship with fashion. Welcome to the age of the fashion video. Our inbox is no longer filled to the brim with mere still images from different brands -- now we've progressed to the world of the moving picture. As fall approaches, many companies are thinking up new ways to push their products, and you start getting a sense of what they're especially proud of, and what they forecast as a big ticket item. The folks over at Original Penguin opted not to put on some flashy, slick show and instead made a clever little pastiche featuring their jacket a la an old Hollywood B movie. In it, their velvet-y looking blazer takes a trip across the dreaded Bermuda Triangle, in hopes of making it out alive. There's not much suspense, but it's a cheeky angle that we haven't seen much of, which is a surefire way to squeeze a giggle out of our cynical, cynical hearts. Enjoy the film below:
