The Queerest Cartoon Ladies We've Known and Loved

Our girls over at SheWired know us so well. They're fully aware of our obsession with cartoons and comic books and that we are apt to fully dork out over the subject of the gayest cartoon characters. There's just something about a two-dimensional man that really gets us going. They, too, have noticed something queer about some animated female friends -- from Peppermint Patty's Birkenstocks and button-downs to Wilma Flinstone and Betty Rubble's particularly close bond. While we're not trying to start any rumors, we would like to note that some girls were just drawn with a bit more ambiguously.
